Today's Mountains of Paradox

(As soon as I recall who wrote this, the name will appear here....... straight away)

“The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less. We buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and meditate too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life. We’ve added years to life not life to years. We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbour.
We’ve conquered outer space but not inner space. We’ve done larger things, but not better things. We’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We’ve conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete.
Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn’t cost a cent.
Remember to say “I love you” to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind."

As it may seem I live in a realm of seriousness, weirdness and wonder, truth of the matter is I feel just as much of a little lost child in Never-Neverland as anyone else. I grasp a concept, experience it, and although I have gained something, the more I try to understand it, conceptualise it, analyse it, the more I miss the point. I am a massive joker, Queen of Contradiction, a crazy scientist and an impressionist. My aim (if there is even one) is to get the deep stuff I have had stored away in my journals and computers out in the open so I can then move on to what matters; entertainment, the light stuff honing in on humour with a twist :)

Boundlessness

There are no bounds to encase your true nature, so don't place limitations upon yourself. Live within the freedom of the expansiveness of your heart and let your spiritual vision extend forever...
Freedom has no bounds - it grasps this experience of life, but does not cling to it. This precious gift of freedom is our true spiritual essence, and on its wings we can soar magnificently within the realm of wonder...

Live True To Yourself

Excerpt from 'Within A Miraculous Realm'

Our true self is not separate from the world- you are here within it and cannot hide from it, or discover it. Watch the light that is radiated from your consciousness, and you shall find that this same radiant light of awareness, is in observation of you also...

As I travel, I meet many people who profess to know the spiriitual life, but confess that they can't follow the knowledge they have accumulated. The truth of this matter, is that they really do not understand the spiritual life, and thus it can be understood why they can't follow it. They have not failed in their spiritual life, they simply have not yet fully accepted that dictates of their heart, as of yet.

They have an intellectual grasp of a concept, but have no deep understanding of a spiritual way of life, because they have not yet been convinced of the truth of life's reality. Their way of life is still a mystery to them, becayse until one if fully convinced that they are a spiritual being, then no true realisation can be lived, but only a superficial consent. They may have insights into highter truths, but if they truly understood the reality of life, then they would live in automatically, and no contrary situation or wordly participation would be of any hinderance. When one is convinced of a beneficial aspect of life, then they make it a natural part of their life, and let nothing inteferewith its practice. To honour a way of life means that one does it, and not just considers it. The knowledge of a spiritual life mist be more that just concept, for until one lives his knowledge, then he really does not know it. Life is much more than concept and philosophical premise, the truth of life in in carrying out the actuality of the wisdom present within you. It is only in this way that realisation can be gained and expressed, within this unique opportunity of experience we call life. Live true to yourself, and don't say you know, if you don't do...

Animus

A reflection of my own perfection, my shadowed dreams, my hidden fantasy

All that I want
All that I am
All that I’ll be yet
That I’ve yet to know
Searching for truth, growing through pain
Its future proof, none was in vain

A Balancing Act

9:30 AM
Whilst laying on my rock in the sun...

It Is Always About Balance

We always bring in what it takes to be whole, to balance, to create a sense of levelness...

For instance...
An unpredictable person with no sense of balance is either going to come into contact with individuals who make them find balance or figure things out 'the hard way'
Usually through a) the law b) partners they bring in c) family d) situations

More balanced people will bring in people of the same nature, with aspects that are not fully polished as of yet in their own being.

Thoughts that aren't expressed, figured out, written or understood will come out through situations bringing light to these ideas, for better or for worse (again to create balance).

Emotions that are being repressed will come out through the partners we gain , situations we get ourselves into, physical distress or even a form of breakdown so we can renew/realease the emotional blockage.

What we find ourselves attracted to at any given time is saying something about our state right now.
If we want zany, creative individuals, we may be lacking in that trait ourselves and we need it in out lives.
If we seek stability, that's what we're after due to our own instability, lack of direction.

At the end of the day, finding pieces of who we are, what makes us smile, what drives us to become, what makes us truly content within ourselves is the only direction to go towards, it is about taking a step on one of the billion paths towards the right direction.

It Is Always About Balance

So whats the point...?

In a world of infinite possibility, wouldn't it be all to easy to just convert back to old beliefs and systematic thinking? Just like in the matrix, once the red pill is taken, there is no going back and who would want to? Living in ignorance, the ignorantly blissful state isn't real. The experiences and knowing of our true nature is the greatest gift there is. There is nothing we HAVE to do. There is nowhere we HAVE to be. We do not have to follow others, not even our own contraptions of thought that are previous programs we've lived in. It may take time it may take now but we have EVERYTHING inside of us to become anything, as we are everything as hard as it may be to digest when we first hear this. As long as we do not impose our will on others, and remain humble in this aspect of knowledge it is the greatest gift we can ever treasure, the gift of knowing truth, the removal of fear, the loss of false identity and gaining of our true selves which cannot be measured, especially in a physical sense.
We as beings greater than that of the body and of the boxed-in mind, are so tremendously scared of our own awesomeness we succumb to the illusion of acceptance, eventually drowing in mediocrity.
